Anyway, for those of you that have finished reading book 7, let's all get together and talk about it. Better yet, what about a more frequent meeting to talk about some of the other hidden things throughout the series, like take book 1 and dissect it, then move through the series. Or even other books, I wouldn't object to a small little book club, as long as we could all agree on what to read.

We will meet on the bottom level inside at the Mrs. Field's cookie place at 6...ish. Obviously because of the time it may be difficult to get there at that exact time. Please call me ASAP if you think you will be later so we can send a few people into the theater to secure seating.

So I called the movie theater this evening to ask when they might be adding more screens for Wednesday night. They told me that until the ones already available get to about 80% sold, they won't be adding anymore. So, that limits us, until probably monday or tuesday, to choosing either the 6:45 or 9:35 shows. With this in mind, Shannon and I are planning to attend the 6:45 so that we get home at a decent time. As with previous plans, I will be happy to pre-buy the tickets for those of you that want to meet us for the 6:45 show, but I need to know who. When I get home from work tomorrow, I will call as many people that are interested as I can to find out. It will help a bunch if you leave me a note here though.

Ok, plans have changed. As many, ok 99% of those interested in seeing Harry Potter this week don't want to do the midnight show, we will be going to a showing on Wednesday night. At the moment, the only tickets available for pre-purchase are at 6:35 and 9:45. I would assume that they should have at least 1 or 2 more theaters showing this monster of a movie, but for now, we need to decide which one to go with. Either is fine with me, but you all need to let me know asap. Right now, the ticket count is up to 7 already and it includes:

Harry Potter fans, attention!!!

Next Tuesday night, 12:01, AMC Newport, I need to know how many people want to go so I can pick up all the tickets at once. I will buy the tickets Sunday night when I get home from work, around 5:30, so make sure you have either called me, emailed me, or left me a response here. There is only ONE showing, so we need to make sure we get our tickets.

Off to re-read "Half-Blood Prince" again.

So I try to go into movies with as little expectation as possible, so that I don't leave disappointed. Obviously, there are exceptions (Star Wars, for example). I went into Aqua Teen Hungerforce Colon Movie Film for Theaters expecting to laugh, but not much else. I laughed, and was pleased. I went into The Departed expecting a Scorsese mob movie, which I got, and more. I went into Spiderman 3 expecting it to be at least as entertaining as the previous two (although, I will admit, and you can bring on the flames for this, I was not overly happy with the second film). My report on Spiderman's third outing follows.

To sum it up: 10 minutes of actions, followed by 30 minutes of zzz...zzz...zzz, repeat.

I felt the film was too long, riddled with too many emmotional roller coasters, certainly did not make use of one of Spiderman's greatest villains, and certainly did not live up to the hype surrounding Spiderman. The ending did everything but make me angry... Peter goes into the club, asks MJ to dance, and while they are embracing each other dancing, with her crying, he doesn't even smile?!?!?!? And then that's it.

Better luck next time I suppose.

I feel an explanation is due regarding my previous post.

First, I did not get accepted to Purde. However, as we all know, God has a reason for everything, and the second thing that my previous post applied to is, I feel, the reason I did not get accepted...
